Wine Holistic Health aims to help you get to the root cause of your current health concerns while providing you with the highest personalized medicine. This means there are three steps to your New Patient Process: Initial Visit, Labs, and Treatment Plan Appointment.

Your Initial Visit is a Zoom visit lasting up to 60 minutes with Dr. Wine.  This is a private HIPPA-compliant video appointment with Dr. Wine. This includes time spent before, and after your visit for Dr. Wine to review the data you provide on the patient portal and any previous labs you may provide in advance.

Labs are scheduled after your Initial Visit. Dr. Wine, or a staff member, will instruct you on the lab testing after your Initial Visit. Your discussions during the Initial Visit will determine which labs Dr. Wine will be requested from you. If she wants blood labs drawn, a lab requisition will be put into your patient portal for you to print and take to a lab near your home that takes your insurance. If it is other specialty labs, such as a urine, stool, or saliva test, these kits will be mailed directly to your home, and you will complete these at home and then send them directly to the lab that will be processing the results. Some labs require fasting, which the physician will discuss during your Initial Visit. Lab test results will take approximately 1-6 weeks, depending on the ordered test(s).

The Treatment Plan Appointment with Dr. Wine is the third step in the New Patient Process. This is another remote telemedicine appointment lasting up to 60 minutes, depending on your healthcare needs and the complexity of your case. At this step, you will receive your action steps on how to treat your healthcare issue.  

To maximize your time during your Initial Visit and enhance your quality of care, please fax or mail any previous labs for the past two years at least five business days before your Initial Visit. This will allow Dr. Wine ample time to review the data before you meet with her. We cannot guarantee that Dr. Wine will have time to review your documentation if we do not receive your documents at least five business days before the Initial Visit.


Prices for Services

Initial Visit* is a private HIPPA-compliant Zoom video call lasting up to 60 minutes with Dr. Wine for $650.00. A $350.00 non-refundable deposit is required to schedule the appointment, with the remaining $300.00 due upon the day of the initial visit. There are no refunds on the deposit, regardless of circumstance.

Labs can range between $25.00 to $800.00 depending upon the lab that is ordered, the terms and conditions of your health insurance plan, and deductibles depending upon the lab services. Wine Holistic Health does not mark up the costs of these labs. You work directly with the lab vendor and insurance to make those payments.

Treatment Plan Appointment is another remote telemedicine appointment with Dr. Wine lasting up to 60 minutes. The cost for the appointment is $552.00. This is either a video meeting or phone call to discuss the lab results in detail and review your customized treatment plan.

Follow-up appointments with Dr. Wine

  • 60-minute appointment is $552.00

  • 90-minute appointment is $828.00


Refunds, Cancellation & Rescheduling

New Patients: To schedule your Initial Visit with Dr. Wine, establishing you as a patient, you must leave a $350.00 non-refundable deposit to reserve your appointment. If, for any reason, you decide to cancel your appointment, your deposit is forfeited. However, if a scheduling conflict arises and you need to reschedule, we require a 3-business day notification of your request to honor your deposit for another day. Otherwise, your original deposit would be forfeited, and you would need to provide an additional non-refundable $350.00 deposit to secure any new future Initial Visit with Dr. Wine.

Established Patients: There is a 3-business day cancellation and rescheduling policy. Your appointment with the doctor must be canceled or rescheduled at least three business days before your consultation time, or you will be charged for the entire visit. Please call 810-355-4201. Phone calls are the preferred method of cancellation/rescheduling. If you choose to use the patient portal to cancel or reschedule your appointment via email, you are responsible for ensuring that our staff receives and responds to the email within 3-business days. Failure to do so will result in a full charge of your office visit. There is NO charge to cancel or reschedule appointments before three business days. We desire to serve our patients best. Last-minute cancellations/rescheduling impact our ability to offer comprehensive, holistic care to patients efficiently and effectively. We can no longer absorb the cost of patients missing their appointments. As soon as you know you need to cancel or reschedule; please call the office at 810-355-4201 so we may offer your appointment time to someone on the waiting list. We also understand emergencies happen. We will consider these on a case-by-case basis. 

Supplements: There are no returns for supplements purchased online. Any questions on products purchased online need to be directed to either Wellevate/Emerson Ecologics online support or FullScript Support.

* All Patients - Package / Program Pricing: Any packaged program pricing offered at Wine Holistic Health Center is non-refundable. This applies to the Weight Loss Program, Health Coaching packages, supplement purchases, teaching and training classes, and anything marketed and promoted as a “package,” “therapy,” or “program” by Wine Holistic Health Center.


Late Policy

We do our best to start every appointment on time to provide excellent medical care to each patient. If you are more than 10 minutes late, the appointment may need rescheduled. Please call the office if you anticipate being late at 810-355-4201. If the patient is late, they will pay for the scheduled appointment's total cost. For example, if an appointment is scheduled for one hour, but the patient is half an hour late, the patient would be responsible for paying for the entire hour. We would not be able to extend the appointment past the scheduled ending time as this would inconvenience multiple other patients. (We also understand emergencies happen. We will consider these on a case-by-case basis.)


Refills

Please get in touch with your pharmacy first for refills to help ensure that you are taking the medicine as prescribed. Many times you may already have a refill on file without realizing it. Allow 3-5 business days for all prescription refills. It is your responsibility to manage your prescription supply levels. Further, if you have not been seen for over six months, you may need labs and a follow-up appointment to review those labs before refilling your prescription. This is to ensure you are on track with your Treatment Plan, monitor your biochemistry, and help identify indicators of your overall health and best practice for safe medicine. If, for some reason, you cannot complete your labs in a timely fashion, we will issue a partial fill for your prescription ONCE. This will only happen once, regardless of the circumstances, for our office to implement best practices in safe medicine.


Supplements / Vitamins

Dr. Wine uses a combination of supplements, diet, lifestyle changes, and pharmaceutical medicine as part of her comprehensive treatment plan.  We do offer pharmaceutical grade supplements that are not available at your regular pharmacy or health food store. These products have been selected by Dr. Wine based on her research and study of the product's safety, efficacy, and potency.  As a convenience for our clients you may purchase these products from our clinic or through our online store. However, you are not required to purchase these products in order to receive medical service from Dr. Wine. Visit our online patient store to view our product lines.
